Our Exterior Painting Process
1. Pressure wash the entire exterior to remove dirt, chalking, mold, and mildew.
2. Inspect and prep the surface.
3. Scrape all loose or peeling paint.
4. Seal cracks, joints, and gaps with caulking — larger cracks get Sherwin-Williams Masonry Patch Sealant.
5. Mask windows, doors, floors, plants, and anything not being painted.
6. Prime — spot-priming or the whole house, depending on condition.
7. Apply the finish coat. Most homes need one coat; a dark-to-light color change gets two.
8. Paint the front door.
9. Full cleanup of the work area.
10. Final walkthrough with you to confirm everything meets your satisfaction.
Most single-story homes take 2–3 days; two-story homes take 3–4 days.
The Paint We Use
Sherwin-Williams is our paint of choice on every job — we've found it delivers the best durability and performance for Florida's climate, which is why it's our default. Exterior walls are finished with Duration, a self-priming acrylic built to resist moisture, blistering, and UV fading. Bare or problem surfaces are primed first with Loxon. If you have a preferred brand, just let us know. Front doors and accents get special attention as a finishing touch on every job.
What Affects the Cost of an Exterior Paint Job
Single-story exterior repaints typically run $1,800–$3,000; two-story homes run $2,800–$4,500. Price depends on square footage, current paint condition, number of colors, and how much repair the surfaces need. Every exterior job includes pressure washing as step one — priced separately at $250–$400 for a house if done on its own. Prices are approximate; every project gets a personalized, free quote.
What Makes Us Different
We pay close attention to small details and final touches. We make sure every line is cut clean and defined, surfaces are carefully protected, and — wherever possible — we paint down to the lowest point of the house. If your home has stone or brick at the base, we carefully pull it away to paint fully behind it for complete coverage. We finish every job with a complete cleanup and a walkthrough with you before we call it done.
Our goal is for you to not have to worry about anything — just enjoy the result.

Q: How often should a Florida home be repainted?
